Creamy Gochujang Pasta (Global Fusion)





Dive into a fusion of Italian comfort and bold Korean flavors! This creamy gochujang pasta is a vibrant, satisfying dish that combines the warmth of pasta with the spicy-sweet kick of gochujang, creating a truly unforgettable meal









  • Ingredients:
    • 1 pound pasta (penne, rigatoni, etc.)
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
    • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
    • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
    • 1 cup vegetable broth
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or plant-based cream)
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or nutritional yeast)
    • Fresh spinach, a few handfuls
    • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish.

  • Instructions:
    • Cook pasta according to package directions.
    • Sauté onion, garlic, bell pepper, and mushrooms in olive oil until softened.
    • Stir in gochujang and cook for 1 minute.
    • Add vegetable broth and cream, and simmer until slightly thickened.
    • Stir in Parmesan cheese (or nutritional yeast) and spinach.
    • Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to combine.
    • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
