Pizza Skillet (High Protein, Low Carb)

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
    • 1 bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
    • 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
    • 1/2 cup tomato paste
    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • Toppings: pepperoni, olives, etc.











  • Instructions:
    • Brown ground beef or sausage in a large skillet. Drain excess fat.
    • Add bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Cook until softened.
    • Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Simmer for 5 minutes.
    • Top with mozzarella cheese and desired toppings.
    • Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
